Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

You will leave Arusha in time for lunch, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National park to enjoy an afternoon game drive. It stretches for over 50km long the base of this rusty gold which is over 600m high in the rift valley escarpments. This lake is so scenic with a setting that extolled by Ernet Hemingway as the loveliest lake in Africa. This game viewing circuit through the Manyara offers a good Tanzanian safari experience. In the afternoon, have a game drive to explore the park.

Dinner and overnight at Migunga Tented Camp

Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Have a morning game drive in lake Manyara and after breakfast start your drive to Ngorongoro , which is one of the natural wonders of the world. This crater is also one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles that is magical and has abundant wildlife that visitors love. The crater borders the Serengeti to the north as well as in the west. You will have a few hours to drive to the east and it takes you to the town of Arusha which is a gate way to the Ngorngoro Conservation Area as well as the northern parks.

Day 3: Explore Ngorongoro crater

Have breakfast and be taken 2000ft down the crater with a vehicle for a full day tour in the crater, have a picnic lunch at the crater floor. This crater is also referred to as the eighth wonder of the world and reaches across over 8300 sq km, this Ngorongoro Conservation Area with the northern Tanzania has variety of land scapes, people, wildlife and the archaeology that is found in Africa. The mountain forests, waterfalls, grasslands as well as the volcanoes are home to many animals and the Masai people. ; Later in the evening, ascend to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast and depart to Serengeti as you pass through the Olduvai Gorge, which is the site of Leakey’s family that discovered the fossils of human and animal ancestors that date back to over 2 million years ago. The ecosystem in the Serengeti is also one of the oldest on earth. The features of vegetation, climate and fauna have changed in the past million years. The early man in his time made an appearance with in the Olduvai Gorge about 2 million years ago. The patterns of migration, life, death and adaption are also as sold as the hills themselves.

Day 5: Explore Serengeti Plains

Spend the whole day game viewing in the Serengeti plains with both the morning and the afternoon game drives. You will search for the wild animals that you had missed on the previous game drives. You will also enjoy the migration which is famous in the Serengeti. There are over a million wildebeests as well as 200,000 zebras that flow south from the northern hills to the plains in the southern part for the short rains of October and November, and also the long rains of April, May and June.

Day 6: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast and after drive to Tarangire and arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and explore this famous park. The sun sucks the moisture from the land scape as it takes the earth into the dusty red as well as the grass. There is also the Tarangire River that passes through the shadow of its wet season and the park is filled with variety of wildlife including the pythons that climb the trees, lions, leopards and many more.

Dinner and overnight at Osupuko Lodge

Day 7: Departure

Have breakfast and after go for a morning game drive in the park after have lunch at the lodge and then drive to Arusha to meet your flight back home.
